Anything is possible…
Long time collaborators, Drew Hance and Preston Drum have come together once again to bring you DAYDREAM RODEO. A show that tells the story of a magical warehouse where anything is possible, and everything is alive with creativity and imagination. The duo has been working together on various projects since 2016, but have teamed up again to develop, write, shoot, edit, as well as make all the props, puppets and effects from scratch. Now featuring the talents of the illustrious Emma Ozark in the areas of character design, animation, puppet/prop production and story boarding as well as a proper assist from her partner, Jon. Episode 1: The “crew” works a typical day on the public access set, helping to produce an episode of a local children’s show. A delivery person gets lost in the building attempting to deliver a package to Levon, which sparks jealously among the cast and crew but brings about a happy ending for everyone in the end.
Episode 2: A Dapper stranger arrives at the hat factory in order to meet Levon who can help find the perfect hat to match their special outfit. When they enter, they learn that a funny hat competition is taking place in the factory, the winner’s hat will be added to the hilarious fall catalogue. While the stranger, named Big Pants Bill, and Levon search for the perfect hat, the crew’s contest reveals that trying too hard can over complicate things and sometimes simple ideas work the best. The winning hat is made by the underdog, and turns out to be the perfect hat for the Newcomer’s outfit.
